About ATP STEM Education and Training Services
ATP STEM is a coaching institute in Bur Dubai for secondary students on Indian curricula. It prepares grade 11 and 12 students for the IIT-JEE engineering entrance exam and the NEET medical entrance exam, with separate tracks for CBSE and ICSE/ISC students, and runs foundation courses in maths, physics, chemistry and biology for grades 9 and 10. Advanced students can start JEE or NEET preparation earlier. Classes run face to face or online, with recorded lectures to catch up on, weekly tests in subjective and MCQ formats, regular mock exams and a mobile and web MCQ platform built to feel like the real JEE. Students do not have to take every subject; they can enrol subject by subject. The institute also offers one-to-one sessions, parent-teacher meetings and free counselling on higher education. It was founded by Atinderpal Singh, and its teaching team lists IIT-JEE percentiles and other entrance-exam results among their credentials. The centre is on the sixth floor of Al Tawhidi Building 2 on Al Mankhool Road.
The activity
Exam Prep, explained
Competitive exam coaching prepares secondary students for high-stakes entrance tests on top of their school work. For families on Indian curricula (CBSE, ICSE/ISC), the big two are JEE, the engineering entrance exam that leads to the IITs, and NEET, the medical entrance exam. Coaching usually starts in grade 11, with 'foundation' courses in grades 9 and 10 that deepen maths and science so the jump later feels smaller. Students work through physics, chemistry, maths or biology in more depth than school, sit regular timed tests in the exam's own formats and learn to manage speed and pressure. It builds problem-solving, exam stamina and study habits, and suits teenagers who already enjoy maths and science.
Who it's for
Secondary students on CBSE or ICSE/ISC. JEE and NEET preparation is for grades 11 and 12, with earlier starts for gifted or advanced students; foundation courses are for grades 9 and 10. There is nothing here for younger children. The Google listing notes a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park.
What to expect
Students pick the subjects they need rather than a fixed bundle, then choose face-to-face classes in Bur Dubai or online. Expect content that goes beyond the school textbook, with summaries, practice problems and higher-order thinking questions, weekly tests that rotate through the subjects, and mock exams built from recent papers. Foundation students also get video solutions, mind maps and formula sheets for revision. Recorded lectures and study materials sit in the institute's app. For select schools, ATP says it runs batches synchronised with the school timetable. Fees, batch times and whether a demo class is offered are not published: ask the provider.
