Al Twar Library

Al Twar Library is a public library in Al Twar 1, a Dubai Public Libraries branch next to Al Twar Park and a few minutes from Al Qusais Metro Station and Terminal 3. Opened in 2007, it holds more than 68,000 titles and has a children's section, a reading room, an activity room and audio-visual facilities, with summer and winter camps for children and stories for children in several languages. Entry is free; borrowing needs Dubai Public Libraries membership, and a children's membership runs until the child turns 12. Dubai Culture's hours panel says Sunday to Thursday 8am to 8pm and Friday 8am to 12pm, but the same page also says Saturday to Thursday 10am to 5pm, so call 800 33 222 before a special trip.
