The activity

Exam Prep, explained

Exam prep is structured coaching for a specific test, such as IGCSE or the SAT, rather than general homework help. A course usually starts with a diagnostic test to find the gaps, then works subject by subject: key topics, worked examples, timed past-paper practice and full mock exams under exam conditions, with feedback after each one. Alongside the content, students learn exam technique: how questions are marked, how to manage time and how to stay calm on the day. Most teenagers start in the year or two before a big exam; younger children usually get subject tutoring to strengthen the basics first.

Who it's for

School-age students and adults. For children: Grade 9-10 students preparing for IGCSE, Grade 10-12 students preparing for the SAT, private candidates and homeschooling students, and students retaking subjects to improve a grade. The science tutoring programme is described as being for primary and middle school students. The Google listing notes a wheelchair-accessible car park, seating and toilet, and an assistive hearing loop.

What to expect

The IGCSE programme starts with a diagnostic assessment in each subject to find strengths, weak spots and target grades, then builds a study plan. After that come subject-by-subject concept reviews, practice questions, regular subject tests and full-length mock exams under exam conditions, with score reports and feedback, before a final revision stage. The institute says most IGCSE programmes run from 6 months to a year, and SAT coaching runs 8 to 16 weeks. You can book a demo class with a named teacher, online or at the campus, through the booking page. Fees are given on request.
