What age can children do an escape room in Dubai?
Most Dubai escape rooms take children from about 7, with an adult in the room. Escape Hunt takes players from 7 and asks 7 to 14 year olds to play with an adult; GAME OVER asks 7 to 11 year olds to play with a paying adult and lets children of 12 and over play on their own; NoWayOut’s family rooms are for 10 and over and its horror rooms for 14 and over. Check each room’s age and scare level before you book.
How much does bowling cost in Dubai?
A game costs about AED 22 to 55 a person. Dubai International Bowling Centre in Al Mamzar charges AED 22 on weekdays, AED 25 at weekends and AED 30 on public holidays; Dubai Bowling Center in Al Quoz charges AED 28 to 55 depending on the day and time; Switch Bowling at Ibn Battuta Mall starts at AED 50. Lanes can also be booked by the hour, from about AED 132 to 235 for up to five players.
How do arcade cards work in Dubai?
The big arcades run on a rechargeable game card rather than coins: you load credit onto the card at the counter, and each game or ride takes its own number of credits. Redemption games pay out tickets that are swapped for prizes at the counter.
Are there age or height limits for VR in Dubai?
Yes, and they differ by game. Play DXB at The Dubai Mall uses height limits, for example 110cm to ride with a guardian and 120cm to ride alone; VR Point in Al Quoz takes players from 10, or from 8 for its family game; Zero Latency’s free-roam arena in Dubai Marina is for 13 and over. Each listing shows the limits the venue publishes.
When are indoor entertainment centres open, and when are they busiest?
Most open from around 10am until between 10pm and 1am, later at weekends. Weekends, public holidays and school holidays are the busiest times and often cost more, so book escape rooms and bowling lanes ahead; Dubai Bowling Center warns of a wait for a lane even with a booking.
